How to set up an e-mail account in Outlook

  1. Open Outlook. Select Tools > Email Accounts. Select "Add a new email account".

  2. Fill in the dialogue box with the settings your e-mail account settings.

  3. In the "Internet E-mail Settings (POP3)" dialogue box click on "More Settings". Click on the "Outgoing Server" tab in the next dialogue box and ensure that the box "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" is checked and that "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" is also selected.

  4. Close the "Internet E-mail Settings" dialogue box by clicking on "OK", click on "Test Account Settings" and if all is well click on "Next". Click on "Finish" and you're done!
